Growing up in a household of musicians,

it was only natural that Tara should begin her musical training early. She discovered the harp at an early age and went on to earn degrees at Manhattan School of Music, B.A. and Yale University, M.A., studying under the guidance of renowned master harpist, Gloria Agostini. She maintains a private harp studio where she teaches students at all ages and levels, performs with The Pioneer Valley Symphony and teaches harp at Mount Holyoke College. Tara has previously taught at Wilkes University, Illinois State University, and Illinois Wesleyan University. As an orchestral performer, she has been principal player for an ever-increasing number of orchestras throughout New England and has performed with high profile entertainers, including Liza Minelli, Johnny Mathis, Celtic Woman, and The Irish Tenors.

Tara has been a freelance performer for over 25 years. Her extensive repertoire can be customized to suit any occasion and will make any event a memorable one. A master performer, her elegant style and musical virtuosity inspires and entertains.
